Not something that I would normally get involved with, but a surprisingly good looking Lorus quartz watch. A deep clean, a new battery, and a new nylon nato strap makes this large (42mm case) watch with date, a rather striking and functional timepiece.
 
There are scratches on the case and some wear to the plating on one of the lugs, but it is extremely good looking on the wrist and, as you'd expect from a quartz movement, very accurate.
 
An everyday watch that is comfortable, easy to read, and rather eye catching.
